Facebook Video Calling on Mobile Messenger

Finally, Facebook also introduced a video-calling feature to its standalone Messenger application. Presently, this exclusive feature is obtainable to all the users of iOS and Android operating systems.

The company said that it announced this wonderful feature so that you can have face-to-face conversations with your friends, family and relatives. With just one single tap, you can begin a video call from Facebook Messenger.

The company also said that the users of this feature can easily video call their friends even if one of them is on Apple’s iOS and the other on an Android device.

Facebook Adds Video Calls

The video calling of the messenger application has been introduced in various countries, comprising UK, France, Canada, Belgium, Ireland, Laos, Greece and United States.

The all new feature looks and works a lot like Apple’s FaceTime, so users of this feature can have the best time with their friends and family.

When it comes to using this feature, all the users can see a video icon at the top right corner of the screen, which allows them to start a video call from their existing Messenger conversation.

The camera will start in selfie mode when user will start the video call and he/she can easily switch to the rear camera in order to change the view mode. The company said that its video calling service is working wonderfully between iOS and Android platform.

However, this all new video calling on Facebook Messenger works via a mobile data connection as well as WiFi. According to TechCrunch, the company is also working on group video calling and video stabilization.

Still, there is no idea that when will this service will be fully integrated in all the countries, but the Facebook Messenger can overtake Microsoft’s Skype and Google’s Hangout that are already offering video calling feature.

So, iOS and Android users can get this an amazing feature and have a great time with their friends and family.
