Finally, Google has announced Nexus 9, a first tablet to run Android Lollipop 5.0, which performs smoothly with a lot of applications open and switching among them is the solution. Being a streamlined construction device, it comes with a deluxe and comfortable feel.

An HTC-built Nexus 9 got a lot of popularity in the market because of its impressive features, specs and other things that will also compel you to check-out this tablet. Without discussing more, let’s give a close look on the device:

Design & Impressive Looks

The all new Google Nexus 9 has been manufactured by HTC, a well-known name in building quality and stylish devices. The device got an aluminum band wrapped across the edges of the device which you can’t find anywhere else.

When it comes to the device’s edges, you will not find any holes that some are suffering from. You will not be able to find any kind of curve in the aluminum as all the things are straight and sealed wonderfully.

You can find a Micro-USB 2.0 charging port on the bottom within the aluminum edges and there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the top of the tablet. The best thing about this device is that the front of it is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 that covers the top, bottom and side bezels. No matter which color you prefer, you will get the black bezels around the display.

Within the top bezel, you can find a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. However, at the bottom side of Nexus 9’s front-side, you will get HTC Boom Sound speakers and the design of the speaker is extremely delicate.

When it comes to discuss about the display of the device, the all new Nexus 6 got a 8.9” IPS LCD QXGA (2048×1536) display. Well, I am not surprised by using LCD as HTC always manufactured this device and they are not using AMOLED displays. However, the cons on the home-screen are big as compare to smart-phones.

However, the colors are precise and they are not looking saturated like on the HTC One M8. Moreover, the display of the device comes with 4:3 ratio rather than Android tablet norm of 16:9. You will face a little bit of issue while watching a movie on a 4:3 ration display because movies are perfect in 16:9 ration.

For many of you all, it will be not a big issue as you will enjoy your web browsing and book reading in it. Especially, if you love to read books whenever you get time, you will fall-in-love with this. No matter whether you also have interest of playing games and use different applications, 4:3 ration is pretty good for you.

Google Nexus 9 comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera that is better than my thought as it is quite realistic. With its wonderful camera, it would be easy for you to click some decent pictures of whatever you like.

While the front-facing camera is 1.6MP that is also good enough for you as it took pretty good videos. However, if you are doing any video chatting in the dark, it is good for you, but make sure that you will need to have some light to be really clear. Below, you can find a image that captured using Google’s Nexus 9 rear camera:

Batter Life

The device has a 6700 mAh battery that is quite good, but actually, you will need to carry your charger. You will experience drain quickly while playing the games in the device, but if you are using it fairly without watching any videos or listening to music, you will have around 6 hours screen on time.

Bettery of Nexus 9

But if you love to stream videos and play games, you will love to get battery stamina that you usually find in smart-phones. However, Google has applied a battery saving feature in Android 5.0 Lollipop in order to decrease power consumption. The power mode has done its work, so you will get some extra life.
