  1. Thank you for your blog post. However, there’s some errors I’d like to correct:

    – We do NOT use HTML5 and CSS; the app UI’s you build with it are fully native, contrary to PhoneGap.
    – We do NOT use Python, PHP and Ruby, just JavaScript (and for the Alloy pre-compiler XML and TSS).
    – We do NOT support Ajax frameworks, as that is a web technology and as stated, our UI’s are native.
    – Compatibility for additional platforms DOES take some (minimal) extra effort. We don’t believe in “write once, run everywhere” but in platform-specifics UI’s using native controls.
    – We DO support 3rd party libraries by wrapping them in Titanium modules of which we have over 1000+ listed on gitt.io and marketplace.appcelerator.com.
    – Documentation HAS been out of date in the past (read: years ago) but has been up to date for a long time and we accept user contributions to make sure it stays that way.
    – We ARE fully Open Source and DO accept PR’s, as GitHub not only shows we have 67 open PR’s but also 6790 closed ones.
