One of the most popular Indian Consumer electronics companies ‘Micromax’ has announced its new Windows Phone smartphones that called Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092. Yesterday, the company has announced its new smart-phone series at its event in New Delhi.

By launching its new smart-phone series on Windows Phone, the company becomes the first Indian phone maker to launch Windows Phone devices that come with some high-end features.

When it comes to talk about the Micromax Canvas Win W121, the price of this device is Rs. 9,500 and comes with 8-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera for all those selfie lovers, who love to click selfies.

This all new device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and 1GB RAM that will give user-friendly experience to its users. Moreover, this device comes with an 8GB of on-device storage that can be upgraded upto 32 GB using memory card.

The partnership between Microsoft as well as India’s leading phone maker Micromax has been declared by Microsoft at BUILD conference in San Francisco in April. It is one such move of the company that is expected to strengthen competition in the smartphone and tablets space.

Moreover, the software giant Microsoft has already told that it will provide its OS for free to smart-phones and tablet makers. This move can help company to give tough competition to its competitors Google’s Android OS and Apple’s iOS.

Furthermore, Micromax has declared the features and specs details of its Micromax Win W092 that is considered the cheaper one of the two. The device priced at Rs. 6500 and comes with similar specifications, but it comes with 5-megapixel camera on the back and 0.3-megapixel snapper on the back. Being a dual-SIM smartphone, it will surely gain huge attention of people in India.

The company told that the launches justify its decision to make the Windows Phone 8 platform free for all the devices under nine-inches in size.
