Mozilla is soon going to launch Firefox for Windows 10, a modern version which works on both desktops & laptops and phones & tablets. The company has unveiled about its plan of launching Firefox web browser for Windows 10 operating system as a universal application.

Well, this is what we are expecting at this stage rather than Mozilla says it will be released soon. All this is because of a little hint from a Mozilla developer that explained that the company is looking forward to launching a Modern UI version of the popular web browsers.

However, we all are well aware how this story went on Windows 8 neither Mozilla nor Google concerned to develop their Chrome and Firefox browsers ad devoted applications.

The development of a modern clogged midway as Google only repackaged the desktop develop of Chrome to be used as a store application.

Still, the company has not released any work on what the Windows 10 version of Firefox will be look like. As the company also says that it is planning to “provide an independent and high-performing alternative to the stock browser.”

Recently, a user has put in a suggestion, appealing Mozilla to build a Modern UI version of the browser:

“With a Windows 10 universal app Firefox would potentially be able to reach a far greater audience than Windows phone or Windows RT/8/8.1 alone. Firefox is one of the browsers used by millions on the Windows platform daily (32bit and 64-bit as of recently).”

Roland Tangalo, a Mozilla developer, responded that the development team is least looking towards it, but it nothing else. In fact, here there is a small matter of Spartan to consider here, the brand new web browser, which Microsoft is currently working on.

In any case if the apps on Windows 10 take huge time, both Mozilla as well as Google would end-up on the losing side unless they bring their browsers to the Modern UI environment. Right now, we can only hope for the best.
